From Idea to Impact: Writing a Winning Awards for All Application

Led by two experienced Southampton City Council officers, this free one-hour online workshop is designed for community groups, voluntary organisations, CICs, and charities seeking to secure funding through the National Lottery’s Awards for All programme.

In this practical session, you will learn exactly what funders are looking for, how to strengthen your application, and how to clearly demonstrate your community impact. Whether you are new to funding or looking to improve your success rate, this workshop will provide you with the insights, tools, and confidence to make your bid stand out — and secure the support your project deserves.

Through the Awards for All programme, you can apply for grants between £300 and £20,000 to fund projects lasting up to two years.

Funding is available for projects that:

Bring people together to build strong relationships within and across communities.

Improve the places and spaces that matter to local people.

Help more individuals reach their potential by offering early support.

Support people, communities, and organisations facing increased challenges due to the cost-of-living crisis.
